Cazenovia To the editor:
I write in support of Liz Moran, Bill Zupan and Tom Clarke, who are running for town of Cazenovia offices in the Nov. 8 election.
I have known and worked with these folks for many years, and I am thrilled that they are willing to step up once again and work to make our community a better place.
Tom Clarke is running for Cazenovia Town Supervisor, having served previously as Village Mayor, Village Trustee and Chief Operator of the Madison County Sewer District. He is familiar with town, village, and county procedures and personnel. Tom brings a thoughtful, knowledgeable approach to issues and takes the time to follow projects through to successful completion.
Liz Moran’s four years as supervisor saw the adoption of a new joint town-village comprehensive plan and a cooperative approach to restoring the health of Cazenovia Lake. Her professional expertise in watershed management and her strong collaborative skills will be a wonderful contribution to the town board.
Bill Zupan has served on the Cazenovia Town Board for the past four years and is running for re-election. As anyone who knows him can attest, Bill is smart, honest and straightforward.
He has produced a high level of cooperation among the village, town, Lake Association, sportsmen’s groups and state agencies to restore and protect Cazenovia Lake, and will continue to do an excellent job for the community.
I urge everyone to attend the League of Women Voters candidate forum on Oct. 26 to hear from all of those running for office, and to vote on Nov. 8 for this terrific group of candidates.
