The town of Manlius Republican Committee recently announced its endorsements for the Nov. 8 election. Town of Manlius Republican candidates for re-election were all endorsed by their party as well as the Conservative, Independence and Veterans parties. All are running unopposed.
“Our town elected officials do an excellent job — day in and day out — working for the people,” said town of Manlius Republican Party Chairman Hank Chapman. “Town of Manlius government continues to provide the top-notch services people have come to expect while keeping the tax rate as low as possible.”
Receiving the endorsements were Town Supervisor Ed Theobald, Town Councilors John Loeffler, Sandy Schepp and Nick Marzola, Town Clerk Allison Edsall, Highway Superintendent Rob Cushing and Town Justice Sal Pavone.
“I am very proud to have received the endorsement and support of these political parties,” said Supervisor Theobald. “It is a great honor to be recognized with their support. We will continue to carry our message of fiscal responsibility into this fall’s campaign and as our guiding principle at town hall.”
Also endorsed by the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Veterans parties is County Legislator Kevin Holmquist of District 10, representing most of the Town of Manlius. Holmquist is being challenged by Gwyn Mannion, who has the endorsements of the Democratic and Working Family parties.
