CCH thanks community for successful ‘Taste of Cazenovia’

Letter to the editor

To the editor:

The Cazenovia Children’s House Administration, Board of Directors, and Staff were deeply touched by the overwhelming support of all who sponsored and attended the Taste of Cazenovia. The event, which supports Children’s House programs and tuition assistance for families with financial need, is the largest fundraiser, and this year was attended by over 500 supporters!

We were deeply moved to see so many guests fill the tent that evening and we thank you all for attending.

Words alone cannot fully express our gratitude for the level of financial and planning support received from Owera Vineyards. We wish to recognize Ben Reilley, Director of Operations at Owera Vineyards for his professionalism, expertise, long hours and tireless efforts he gave to make the Taste of Cazenovia the most well attended event in the history of Cazenovia Children’s House. To Owera Vineyards, our valued partner, the Children’s House Administration, board of directors, staff and families are forever grateful for your support.

The Taste of Cazenovia could not take place were it not for the tremendous support of restaurant and beverage sponsors.

Many thanks to our culinary sponsors: Brae Loch Inn, Cazenovia Candy Shoppe, Cazenovia Pizzeria, Cazenovia College, Circa, Dave’s Diner, Golden Pheasant Steakhouse, Les Pates et Les Nouilles, Lincklaen House, Nonpareils, and the “20” Restaurant & Steakhouse, whose wonderfully delicious dishes were featured and sampled throughout the evening.

Equally important in a taste event are the beverage sponsors who provide select wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages for guests to enjoy. Many thanks to our beverage sponsors: Owera Vineyards, Harvest Moon Cidery at Critz Farms, Empire Brewing Company, Hosmer Winery, Dunkin Donuts and Tri-Valley Beverage.

The event took place on a clear, dry beautiful fall evening at Owera Vineyards and included live entertainment by our entertainment sponsor, The Noisy Boys acoustic duo, which was enjoyed by all. The selection of music complemented an evening of socializing, tasting and silent auction shopping of the many auction items so generously donated by the local merchants, artists and community supporters.
