Cazenovia Fellas, grab your dames for an evening of dice rolling, wheel spinning and card shuffling at the Casino Night fundraiser to benefit the Friends of Lorenzo — an event that’s sure to be the cat’s pajamas.
Join the festivities on Oct. 21 at the Lincklaen House, and enjoy drinks and appetizers while trying your hand at Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold’em and a money wheel; no prior playing experience necessary.
Attendees will receive “fun” chips to play with, which may be traded in at the end of the event for raffle tickets and the chance to win locally-donated prizes.
All profits from the evening will go towards supporting the efforts and goals of the Friends of Lorenzo, a non-profit group of dedicated individuals interested in preserving and protecting the Lorenzo mansion and 87 acres of historic grounds.
The Friends, in concert with New York state, supplement on-going programs, interpret the site to the public, underwrite restoration projects and assist financially to procure objects for the Mansion.
In addition, the Friends support Lorenzo research and publication projects, as well as enhance both educational and cultural experiences at the site. Over the last decade, an average of 45,000 people visited Lorenzo annually to take advantage of the many educational programs and activities made possible by the Friends and New York state.
Go “all in” and help Lorenzo “Put on the Ritz” at Casino Night. Call 655-3200 or visit lorenzony.org online for more information, including sponsorship opportunities.
