Baldwinsville Baldwinsville resident and World War II veteran Al Alderman speaks to the first and second graders of Baldwinsville Christian Academy Thursday, Nov. 10 in celebration of Veterans' Day. Joined by his wife, Betty, Alderman spoke to the kids about his experiences in the Army Air Corp, and gave them a sense of the great cost of freedom, which has been paid by so many. He answered the students’ questions and allowed each of the kids to have his or her picture taken wearing Alderman's old helmet. In return, the students gave him cards of appreciation. “It was a great way to recognize our veterans,” said BCA Pastor John Stevenson.
