— The unofficial tally is in for Van Buren Supervisor, which was unopposed. All of the precincts in the town are reporting, with incumbent Supervisor Claude Sykes receiving 1,449 votes (99 percent). There were also 14 write-ins for this position.

The unofficial tally is in for Van Buren Clerk, which was unopposed. All of the precincts in the town are reporting, with incumbent Clerk Lynn Precourt receiving 1,476 votes (99 percent). There were also 5 write-ins for this position.

The unofficial tally is in for Van Buren Highway Superintendent, which was unopposed. All of the precincts in the town are reporting, with newcomer Doug Foster receiving 1,459 votes (98 percent). There were also 17 write-ins for this position.

The unofficial tally is in for Van Buren Town Justice, which was unopposed. All of the precincts in the town are reporting, with incumbent Darlene O’Kane receiving 1,471 votes (99 percent). There were also 5 write-ins for this position.

The unofficial tally is in for three Van Buren town councilor seats, which had two incumbents and one newcomer running for the position. Incumbents Howard Tupper and Mary Frances Sabin received 1,403 and 1,414 votes, respectively, and newcomer Anthony Saraceni received 1,401 votes. There were also 19 write-ins for these positions. Saraceni will join the board Jan. 1, 2012.
