With the Skaneateles High School junior prom this May, the Skaneateles Central School District, the Skaneateles Police Department, SAVES Ambulance, the Mottville Fire Company, Robert D. Gray Funeral and the Skaneateles Fire Department conducted a mock DWI accident on Tuesday May 10 for the junior class. The DWI accident was staged at the Austin Park Pavilion to provide a sobering reminder of the effects of alcohol and drugs when one decides to get behind the wheel of a vehicle while under the influence.
