Three B'ville students place in math contest

Three students in the Baldwinsville Central School District placed in accelerated math levels in the Onondaga County Math Teacher's Association Math Contest held in March. Nate James (pictured), a junior at Baker High School, tied for third place on the grade 12 exam. Cate Beamish, a ninth-grader at Durgee Junior High School, tied for second place at the 10th grade math level. Andrew Ragonese, a ninth-grader at the junior high, tied for third place at the 10th grade level. Placing in the competition at an accelerated math level was an exceptional accomplishment for each of these students.
