Women Ties to host legal seminar

Women TIES, a Central New York business dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs, will host a strategic regional networking and educational luncheon on legal advice for women entrepreneurs.

From noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday June 15 at Justin's Grill, 6400 Yorktown Circle, East Syracuse, the Women TIES Greater Syracuse will host, "Learning the Law: Legal Tips for Women Entrepreneurs." The event will feature Christa Cook, an attorney with Bond, Schoeneck & King, who will highlight what laws women entrepreneurs need to be aware of as they develop and grow their companies; the importance of, and components of, business contracts with vendors, customers, and employees; and the laws related to hiring employees vs. independent contractors.

The cost of the event is $29 and includes lunch, program, promotion and strategic networking to help women entrepreneurs forge stronger economic relationships with other businesswomen.
