Letters: RSVP thanks Community Chest for support

To the editor:

On behalf of the RSVP Volunteers Advisory Council and members, I would like to thank the United Community Chest of Cazenovia, Fenner and Nelson for the recent generous allocation. Sincere thanks to all of the Cazenovia, Nelson and Fenner Community members who have donated to the United Community Chest. Your contribution supports so many worthwhile local organizations that have a positive impact on our community.

RSVP works to strengthen our community through volunteer service. Our role is to recruit and support volunteers for local non-profit agencies. RSVP Volunteers are actively involved in the Cazenovia area in many capacities such as: exercise leaders, tax counselors, drivers for residents over age 55, literacy tutors, food pantry workers, thrift shop staff and much more. RSVP Volunteers are found at Lorenzo, the Key, CazCares, Cazenovia Public Library, CAVAC, CRIS-CAT and many more essential services.

RSVP Volunteers continues its commitment to making a positive impact on the quality of life in Madison County through our work with volunteers. Thank you kindly, to all donors to the United Community Chest of Cazenovia, Nelson and Fenner for your on-going support.

Mary Bartlett

Director, RSVP of Madison County
