The 2011 Farmer's Market season in the village of Manlius will begin Wednesday May 18. The market takes place in the municipal parking lot behind Sno-Top two days a week. The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays. On select Wednesdays, the village will have live entertainment as part of its Summer Concert Series in the amphitheatre right near the market.
This year, the Farmer's Market is offering Customer Appreciation days. You will get your customer appreciation card hole-punched after purchasing from the vendor. For every $5 you spend you will get it punched once. Once your card is full, you will receive a re-useable farmer's market shopping bag. You can pick up a card at any of the vendor booths.
If you have any questions or are interested in being a part of the market, call the Parks and Recreation Director Kristen Hansen at 682-7887 or email her at email@example.com.
