Chait has also enjoyed support from her family and friends. The day before her grand opening, they came in to help steam and hang the clothes, she said. She's hired three employees; two part-time and one full-time manager whom she counts on to help in choosing the right lines.
"I have someone in high school, one in college and a mom - so I have a wide variety of opinions and I definitely want opinions," she said. "What I might not like, Jordan, the college girl, might. When I hired them, I said I want their input. I value [their feedback]."
So far, people like what they see.
"I haven't had any negative feedback which is so good," she said. "It makes me happy that I'm on the right path."
Customers can opt to hold a fashion party, too, be it for a birthday celebration, bridal shower or just a girls night out. Chait said after the doors close for the evening, guests can enjoy exclusive savings, refreshments and fun activities throughout the evening.
