Community Wesleyan Church in Baldwinsville invites families to its annual Easter Egg-stravaganza from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday April 23. Kids of all ages, parents and grandparents can enjoy interactive discovery stations that use hands-on participation to share the real story of Easter. Kids can make crafts, have their faces painted, watch a movie, hear an egg-stra special Easter story, enjoy a snack and more at their own pace throughout the morning. An egg hunt will take place just before noon to wrap up the event.
"This is one of our favorite annual events at Community Wesleyan," said coordinator Kim Rice. "It's totally free and a great way for families to get out and have some fun. But even more important, it's the perfect time to teach kids about the first Easter when Christ rose from the dead. That's the best reason to celebrate."
