Statman and made an album called "Half Set in Harlem" featuring American Gospel singing.
De Danann released a new CD Wonderwaltz in November, 2010. According to reviewer Bill Nevins: "De Danann has always conjured for me a turn of the century feeling, and in many of their albums that meant the turn of the 20th century, both in Ireland and Irish-America, as they played what seemed a revived version of the grand dance hall and stage shows of times long gone by. However, on "WonderWaltz," as the title implies, De Danann give traditional music a new kick forward. This is so wonderfully apparent in the choice and delivery of songs, which suggest old Ireland uncertainly plunging on into the as-yet-undefined 21st century world we now all face. Economic crash, social turmoil and the quiet yearning for peace and home all are reflected poetically in "Ireland," "Across the Borderline" and, most poignantly for me, in an updated take on Paul Brady's beautiful, classic 1980s song "Hard Station"."
