Ray Middle School presents The Jazzeray Cabaret

Ray Middle School will present its Jazzeray Cabaret at 7 p.m. March 26 in the Ray gym, 7650 Van Buren Road in Baldwinsville.

Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. This year's theme is centered on World War II radio shows, featuring songs, dance, military outfits and commercials of that time period.

The evening's performers include the Ray jazz choir, The RayRiffers, under the direction of Mrs. Terryann Gerber, The Bee Sharps, jazz string group under the direction of Mrs. Jennifer Bearup, and the Ray jazz band, The Katz Pajamaz, under the direction of Mrs. Laurie Raschella. Each group is comprised of sixth- and seventh-grade students.

The school will hold an art show in the hallways prior to the evening's performances. The art show will feature the works of Ray students and is being coordinated by art teachers Mrs. Kathy Goltermann and Mrs. Debra Lynch.

The snow date for the cabaret is 3 p.m. March 27 in the school gym.
