With the generous support of numerous local businesses, the Greater Cazenovia Chamber of Commerce will again present a series of concerts at Lakeland Park this summer.
This year, thanks to a substantial donation of $5,000 from Oneida Savings, the GCACC will be able purchase a public address sound system for use at a variety of area community events.
The new audio equipment will be utilized during the summer concerts, community parades, July 4 celebrations and Memorial Day events, as well as the annual Christmas Walk.
Other local businesses helping to sponsor the concert series include Cazenovia Jewelry, Dielectric Laps, GHD, Hunt Real Estate, Isabella, Johnson Brothers Lumber, MacKinnon Liquors, Marquart, Pelco, Swick Chiropractic and others. Unlike other communities in Central NewYork, the Cazenovia concert series receives no public funding and survives solely on the support of local businesses and individuals.
This year's Oneida Savings Summer Concert Series combines some of the best local Cazenovia talent with top entertainers from the Syracuse area. The first show to be presented this summer will feature performances by the Cazenovia Community Band on June 23.
All concerts are free and open to the public.
