Mark your calendars. This Friday, the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center (BVC) will team up with UNO Chicago Grill on Route 31 in Clay, for its first BVC Restaurant fundraiser event. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. and lasts until closing.
The BVC encourages all to visit UNO Chicago Grill to have a great lunch or dinner or enjoy a few drinks during happy hour while effortlessly supporting the BVC. Up to 20 percent of all food and beverage sales from this event will be donated to the BVC through UNO's generosity. There will also be 50/50 raffles and drawings for other prizes as well. Drawings will begin at 8 p.m., but participants don't need to be present to win. The coupon can also be used for take-out food, so even if you can't stay, stop by and pick up some food to take home.
Participants must have an UNO certificate that indicates participation in the BVC fundraiser for. Either pick up the certificate between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekdays at the center, 44 Oswego St., Baldwinsville, request one via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the center at 638-0251 to have it faxed or for information on how to download the certificate from the center's Facebook or blog. The certificate will not be available at the door, so be sure to bring one with you.
"We hope you can join us in this fun and easy fundraising event," said Megan O'Donnell, a BVC board member. "The BVC relies 100 percent on support from the community in providing its various services to the Baldwinsville community."
