Grab a camera and get shooting for your chance to win airline tickets or a Nintendo Wii!

The Near Westside Initiative and Westside Arts Council recently launched the "Westside Through My Eyes" photography contest to showcase the beauty of the community and its people, and the winner will receive two first-class tickets to fly anywhere in the continental United States or Caribbean. If the winner is under 18, the prize will be a Nintendo Wii.

Submissions must have been taken on the Westside of Syracuse by anyone living or working in that neighborhood, between Dec. 16, 2010 and Feb. 28 of this year.

The winning photo will be selected by a panel of artists during a mid-March exhibit of all entries at the Case Supply Warehouse, 109 Wyoming St.

Entries are limited to one per person, and must submitted as an 8- by 10-inch black and white or color photograph. Drop off your entry in person at PEACE Inc., 200 Wyoming St. or the Vincent House at 500 Seymour St.
