Baldwinsville: Fifth-grade chorus to sing at Crunch Game

Elden Elementary School's fifth-grade chorus has been invited to sing the national anthem at the Syracuse Crunch's March 11 hockey game.

Music teacher Katrina Kahl said the performance will provide her students with experience singing for a large audience and with an opportunity to give back to the community. As she's been preparing her students for the performance, she's been making connections to history. She taught the fifth-graders the historical background of the anthem and its importance to the country.
