Lysander camp director receives award

The Town of Lysander Parks and Recreation Department has announced that Marty Bullis of Phoenix has been selected for the 2010 Program Leader Award with the Central New York Recreation and Park Society (CNYRPS).

Bullis has been the summer day camp director the last two years (aside from having worked multiple years prior to that). He is responsible for overseeing a seven-week day camp program with approximately 90 children per week and 25 staff members. His responsibilities include programming; parent relationships; discipline; field trips and more.

"[Marty] does this with ease and maturity, leading the way to a fun and safe program," said Ann Smiley, director of parks and recreation. "We are very proud of Marty and want to congratulate him on his award. Congratulations, Marty!"
