It is with pleasure that I announce my candidacy for the position of Village of Baldwinsville Trustee in the upcoming village election to be held Tuesday March 15.
From 1989 to 2009, I served 10 terms as a Village of Baldwinsville Trustee. In this climate of fiscal restraint and budget cuts, I believe my experience and management background will benefit Baldwinsville taxpayers. My degree in economics from SUNY Brockport and previous employment for 23 years as the director of operations for the Onondaga County Parks Department, gives me an understanding of the issues we now encounter and the difficult decisions the village will face in the immediate future.
Having retired from county employment, I have the time, interest and expertise to serve effectively. I am a Village Party candidate for trustee. Elijah Euling, Jr., candidate for Village Justice and Dick Clarke, candidate for Village Trustee, are also running on the Village Party line. If I am fortunate enough to earn your vote and win election on March 15, you will have chosen someone who will continue to work hard and remain directly accountable to you, the residents of the Village of Baldwinsville.
During my past 20 years of public service, it has been a privilege to meet and serve you. I look forward to continuing our dialogue. You can contact me with comments and/or questions regarding my candidacy and issues facing our village at my e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
I would appreciate your consideration and vote on Tuesday March 15.
