Two prominent scientists to debate hydrofracking

"The effects of this industry would be profound and far reaching," said Jim Weiss, one of the debate's organizers. "This debate is a unique and valuable opportunity for all citizens of Central New York - be they government officials, business owners, landowners, students -anyone interested in the economic and environmental future of our region - to gain a deeper understanding of shale gas extraction by hydraulic fracturing."
