New theatre company to hold auditions in Mattydale

— There's a new theatre company in town.

Long-time theatre enthusiast Eugene Taddeo is well known locally for designing and creating costumes for many theatre companies. In addition to maintaining his never-ending love of theatre, Taddeo has a keen eye for talent and beauty. Taddeo designed and created the gowns and wardrobe for Vanessa Williams in the 1983 Miss America Pageant, The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and The Bob Hope TV special filmed in the Carrier Dome. Now Taddeo will focus his talent on producing live theatre. His company's name is TheatreFirst Productions. His first show will be Broadway's musical comedy smash hit “La Cage Aux Folles.”
