Lakers avenge sectional final defeat to Warriors

— For a short while, Skaneateles stayed within view, only trailing 13-12 after one period, but the Warriors took full command by outscoring the Lakers 17-4 the rest of the half.

Though Elizabeth Lane and Joanna Dobrovosky both produced 11 points and Emily Call added eight points, the Lakers could not catch up. Westhill sophomore Anna Ross proved impossible to contain, amassing 25 points, 12 rebounds, five steals and four assists before the night was done.

Skaneateles will look to rebound at its own tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday, with West Genesee, Marcellus and Clinton serving as the vistors. Games start at 5 p.m. each night.
