Caz Lions Club raffles off plasma TV

— Cazenovia resident Scott Griffin was recently awarded a 50-inch LG Plasma Television by the Cazenovia Lions Club. Griffin was the winner selected from the local Lions Club’s TV Raffle.

The winning ticket was sold at MacKinnon Liquors. Other businesses that provided selling locations were Buyea’s True Value, Emma’s Café, Dave’s Diner and Kinney Drugs. a

In addition to selling tickets and providing a venue for the event, Buyea’s True Value also provided the television at reduced cost for the raffle.

The proceeds from the raffle support the Lions Club’s scholarships for Cazenovia High School students, Lions Sight Conservation Projects in the community as well as the annual Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt.

Members of the Cazenovia Lions Club said they are grateful for the generous support from the community and local merchants.
