— Baker High School sophomores (back row, from left) Grace Santoro, Sarah Karl, Melissa Voyer, Sarah Dugan, Chrissy Linnenbach, (front row, from left) Katie Schumacher, Emily Soeder, Elizabeth Wisely and Kirby Socker recently collected more than $2,000 in pledges for the Rescue Mission by spending the night outside without shelter, water or food. The activity raised awareness in the high school and the Baldwinsville community of the suffering the homeless population endures. This was the third consecutive year the group spent a night outside to benefit the Rescue Mission. The students presented their donation to the Rescue Mission during the organization’s annual Movie with a Mission telethon, held Sunday, Dec. 4, on News Channel 9.
