Teams raise money for 'Hoops For the Hospital'

— Skaneateles got eight points each from Brandon Barron and Ben Eppilito. Nick Sinay paced the Mustangs with 11 points. Garrett Thompson had eight.

Norris was in a good mood long before his Lakers beat Marcellus. The four games attracted large crowds, meaning charity was the night’s big winner.

“Fantastic. There’s been a buzz in the gym since 3:30 this afternoon,” he said. “Our seventh and eighth grade teams got to play in front of crowds their not used to. That was a lot of fun.”

Skaneateles swept the early games - 62-58 (seventh grade), 59-49 (eighth grade) and 71-55 (junior varsity) - and would make it four-for-four by the time the varsity was done.
