— No Laker player hit double figures, as Carpenter, Kleine and Caroline Franz notched eight points apiece and Courtney Maxwell added six points.

Just three Ludden players had field goals, but it was enough as Kibling put up 20 points (including five 3-pointers), Natalie Barletta had 18 points and Lauren Roy contributed 13 points.

At 1-4 on the season, it would not get easier for the Lakers as it stared at trips to Jordan-Elbridge and Bishop Grimes next week before the holiday break.

The Eagles feature Holy Cross-bound senior center Molly Hourigan and the Cobras have a senior guard, Amelia Heiselman, who hit 28 3-pointers in her team’s first four games, all wins.
