— From 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, the Cazenovia boys basketball teams will serve dinner to community residents and athletic supporters at Dave’s Diner.

Players of the modified, junior varsity and varsity teams will host the event, as well as serve and clear the food, then clean up after the feast. The teams will earn 10 to 20 percent of total dinner sales for the evening and all gratuities earned will be added to the total funds raised.

Bill Tilison, owner of Dave’s Diner, will be handling the cooking of all the food, and plans to offer patrons a special dinner menu which will include pasta, chicken and beef dishes.

In addition, a children’s menu of favorite chicken and beef dishes complete with fries will be offered. Take-out will also be available for those looking to contribute.

So plan to have a warm dinner out, on Dec. 15 at Dave’s Diner, and show support for the Cazenovia Laker boys basketball program.
