Police blotter: Five face DWI charges

— At 2:33 a.m. Dec. 4, a vehicle was observed on W. Genesee Street failing to keep right and driving over a hazard marking. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Jessica M. Grant, 25, of 2 Walnut Street, Baldwinsville. Investigation determined alcohol involvement and Grant was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and driving over a hazard marking. She was processed, released ROR and was scheduled to appear in village court on Jan. 4.

Man arrested after leaving restaurant without paying

At 2:26 a.m. Dec. 3, members of the police department were notified by staff at the B’Ville Diner that a person had just ordered food and had then left the restaurant without paying for the food. The man was located and identified as Robert D. Gillespie, 28, of 11 Spruce Street, Baldwinsville. He was arrested and charged with theft of services. He was processed, released ROR and was scheduled to appear in village court on Dec. 14.

Three arrested on warrants

At 10:45 a.m. Dec. 6, Jason M. Quackenbush, 23, of 4169 Wetzel Road, Liverpool, was arrested on a bench warrant charging him with second-degree aggravated harassment. The original charge stemmed from an incident that occurred in 2010 and the warrant was issued after the defendant failed to appear to the probation department. He was processed and arraigned before Judge. T. McMahon who remanded him to the Justice Center Jail on bail of $500 cash/bond and was scheduled to appear in village court on Dec. 14.

At 6:20 p.m. Dec. 1, Jason M. Nosewicz, 34, of 7742 Seneca Beach Drive, Baldwinsville, was arrested on a bench warrant on charges of aggravated DWI and suspended registration. Nosewicz had previously been arrested and charged but had failed to appear in court, which resulted in the warrant being issued. He was arraigned before Judge Huling, released ROR and was scheduled to appear in village court on Jan. 11.
