Onondaga County Parks announces special entrance for commercial vehicles to Lights on the Lake

— As of Friday, Dec. 9, commercial vehicles will no longer be allowed on Onondaga Lake Parkway due to a ban enacted by the NYS Department of Transportation. Since the main entrance to Onondaga Lake Park's popular Lights on the Lake event is on the Parkway, Onondaga County has created an alternate entrance via Willow Street in the Village of Liverpool for commercial vehicles visiting the show. Commercial vehicles coming from the south and east should use Old Liverpool Road and cross over onto Willow Street while those coming from the north should use Oswego Street/Route 57 and make a right onto Willow Street. This entrance is for commercial vehicles only and park rangers will be stationed at the entrance.
