Roll your own sushi

The Onondaga Otaku crew meets for the finale of Baku Test, a little Japanese cooking and the usual ramen at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15. Bring your appetites and suggestions for activities and series for the coming months. There will be prizes for those with the best ideas


Yu-Gi-Oh fans meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, to duel and trade. This program is for students in sixth grade and up. If you are interested in starting a group for younger players and collectors, please contact Mrs. Chism at valc@bville.lib.ny.us.

Holiday crafts for kids

Preschoolers with an adult caregiver will make simple holiday decorations to take home at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16. Registration is required.

Books for Breakfast

December’s book is “A Christmas Blizzard,” by Garrison Keillor. Meet the usual suspects (and maybe some new ones) at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, for book discussion and refreshments.

Drop In Hang-out

Join us from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, a chance to snack, chat, play games and eat pizza with your friends at our community room laptop lounge.

An Open Mike Holiday

Join the fun at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, for music and merriment that may be seasonal or scandalous. It all depends who comes to play. Performer sign in begins at 6:30 p.m.

A Very Muppet Christmas

Join us at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, for a Muppet Christmas Carol a delightful movie for all ages.

Pokemon Black and White Tournament

Teens in sixth grades and up are invited to bring their handhelds and battle from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28. Registration is not required but we ask you to please abide by the age restrictions on this program.
