Santa Express Box back in business
Need to fill Santa in on your holiday needs but don’t have the extra time for a special post office run? Have no fear - our special Santa Express Box is back and ready for your cards and letters at the desk in the Children’s Area. Drop off your letter with name and return address by Dec. 19 to receive a special letter from the folks at the North Pole.

Our monthly technology classes focus in on holiday shopping and family updates (classes held at 1:30 p.m.): Wednesday, Dec. 7, Make a Photo Calendar (great personal Christmas gifts) with Word; Wednesday, Dec. 14, Intro to Ebooks (compare and contrast shopper’s guide); Friday, Dec. 16, Advanced Ebooks – Bring Your Device; Wednesday, Dec. 21, New Computer, Now What? (What services, software and accessories will you need to make the most of your purchase?)
Come and sing carols, wassails and winter songs with professional pianist Ann Barnes at our Songs of the Season Sing-along at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, featuring old favorites, holiday "Name That Tune" and holiday refreshments.

It may be the holidays, but the hunt goes on and Jobseekers Lifeline will be here at 1 p.m. every Thursdays, Dec. 8, 22 and 29, to support your efforts.
Gifts from your heart and hands
This month we give you several crafty options for making great gifts for friends and family for everyone whether you are low or even no budget: Pulling Threads meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 7 and 21, to provide a friendly space for working on personal projects; Local artisan Missy Shipman teaches the art of card making with rubber stamps at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, with registration and $15 materials fee required; Make-a-Basket Workshop returns at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, with instructor Sandee of Cherished Baskets showing you how to make a square basket with rows of curls on the outside. Registration and a $20 materials fee required; Missy Shipman returns at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, with selected materials for constructing a Thanksgiving or Christmas photo album; $20 materials fee and registration required. Last but hardly least the In Stitches crew comes together to celebrate the season and their love of crafts at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.
