— The need is very great this year with nearly 180 families here in the Baldwinsville community asking for help from the Christmas Bureau. Without this help, there will be nothing for them to give their children on Christmas morning and nothing much for their holiday dinner either. Please help the Christmas Bureau bring some Christmas joy and love into the lives of these families. Donations of new toys for children of all ages, clothing and household items and especially food will be very much appreciated. Cash donations allow the Christmas Bureau to buy special requested items like winter coats and boots.

The Christmas Bureau will accept donations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 19 at the former Dollar General store in Smokey Hollow Plaza (corner of Oswego and Smokey Hollow roads) in Baldwinsville. For more information about how you can help or for specific items needed, please call the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center at 638-0251.
