Cazenovia The Lincklaen Shamrocks 4-H group has been very active in the past two months doing arts and crafts, cooking and community service.
The many members include Ethan Baker, Emerson Brothers, Annika Bruno, Lara Bruno, Mackenzie Gregg, Morgan Gregg, Maria Groetz, Will Groetz, Ashley Kent, Erin Kuhn, Megan Kuhn, Claire Murray, Caitlin Smithers, Shawn Smithers and Mya Walters, who are lead by Sue Groetz, Marlene Hogan and Chrissy Tirell.
The Lincklaen Shamrocks meet every other Sunday, for two hours, from September to June.
On Oct. 16, the group walked in the CROP Walk to help stop hunger. They have sewn, canned applesauce, made pumpkin bars and also baked apple pies.
In addition, the Shamrocks have completed numerous nature activities, contributed many community service hours and sold locally grown and produced food products in their “Growing Green” sale to raise money for our club.
The group promises to do much more in the coming months, and the Lincklaen Shamrocks are excited for the new year of 4-H.
