Baldwinsville On Dec. 9, Hillview Coffeehouse will present The Revs, a husband and wife duo that will kick off the holiday season with an inspirational, musical performance.
“We can always count on Jim and Suzi [Harriff] to present a program of inspirational and Christmas music that will be certain to get you full swing into the holiday spirit,” said Joe Folckemer, pastor at Hillview Community Church. “They are fresh back from Rwanda and I am pretty sure that as they will have some great stories to share.”
The Revs, also known as clergy couple Jim and Suzi Harriff, offer music and worship ministry and various special themed and season programs for churches, coffeehouses and civic organizations. They are regular travelers to Rwanda in east central Africa, where they are actively involved in reconciliation and restoration ministry. Jim has served as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Canastota for the past 17 years and sings with the Master’s Touch Chorale. He is also a professional realtor. Suzi serves as chaplain at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville and owns an advertising and public relations consulting business. Both have taught for the lay studies program of American Baptist Churches of NYS, and Suzi is senior faculty member of Bethel Bible Institute on Syracuse’s South Side.
