Cazenovia Community Preschool’s “Cut Your Own Christmas Tree” sale is a great way to start the holiday season.

The 2011 tree sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 4, at Deer Hill Estate.

The sale will leave a bit of extra Christmas cash in customers’ pockets — trees of all sizes are just $20. All proceeds benefit the Cazenovia Community Preschool.

Deer Hill Estate is located at 4119 Burlingame Road in Cazenovia. Hot cocoa, cider and baked goods will be available to attendees and tree-seekers.

“We had a great time last year choosing our tree- the kids were thrilled to find the very best one for us,” said Chrissie Tyrrell Baker, Cazenovia Community Preschool Board Chairperson.

Families need to bring a saw, and should be prepared to cut and load their own tree. CCP will have some helpers on hand as well.

CCP has been an integral part of the Cazenovia area community for more than 40 years.

For more information about the preschool’s programs for 3- and 4-year-olds or the tree sale, contact director Torrey Lansing at torrey.lansing@yahoo.com or call 655-7234.
