B’ville schools offer many concerts this holiday season

Music to fill the air

— This December, treat yourself to the gift of music at a winter concert in the Baldwinsville Central School District. Orchestra, band and chorus students in all of the district’s schools will be showcasing their talents at concerts throughout the month. All concerts are free and open to the public.

The following is the schedule of the district’s winter concerts:

Wednesday, Dec. 7

Baker High School: The band, orchestra and chorus will perform. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. The Baldwinsville Christmas Bureau will be collecting non-perishable food items at the door for their food drive.

Monday, Dec. 12

Elden Elementary School: Orchestra and fourth-grade chorus, 7 p.m., gym

Van Buren Elementary School: 7 p.m., gym

Tuesday, Dec. 13

Palmer Elementary School: Third through fifth grades, 6:30 p.m.

Reynolds Elementary School: Second grade will perform at 6:00 p.m., followed by the intermediate concert at 6:45 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

Durgee Junior High School: Orchestra, band and chorus, 7 p.m., Baker auditorium

Thursday, Dec. 15

Elden Elementary School: Band and fifth-grade chorus, 7 p.m., gym

McNamara Elementary School: 6:30 p.m., Baker auditorium

Tuesday, Dec. 20

Ray Middle School: Sixth-grade orchestra, band and chorus, 7 p.m., gym

Wednesday, Dec. 21

Ray Middle School: Seventh-grade orchestra, band and chorus, 7 p.m., gym
