F-M offers personalized bus stop information; school starts Sept. 6

— The Fayetteville-Manlius School District uses a personalized bus stop information system available online to give families the information they need, when they need it.

The district is no longer printing bus schedules because changes in enrollment can alter bus routes and schedules right up to, and beyond, the first day of school.

The first day of school for grades kindergarten through nine is Tuesday, Sept. 6; grades 10 through 12 will begin Wednesday, Sept. 7.

To access bus stop information, users can enter their address, and the website produces a Google map locating the address and the nearest bus stop. The site will also provide the bus number and when it is scheduled to arrive.

To access the bus stop information, go to the Transportation Department section of the F-M district web site, www.fmchools.org. Those without Internet access should call the transportation office at 692-1218.
