World Religion series kicks off at LPL

The Liverpool Public Library is hosting a three-part World Religion series that kicks off at 7 p.m. Thursday April 21 with Gustav Niebuhr. A journalist, author, and Syracuse University professor, Niebuhr will discuss the diversity of religious beliefs in America and how the people of America are reaching out to find common ground between their faiths. Upcoming programs in the series include:

Thursday May 12: The Everyday Lives of Buddhists in China Today

Thursday June 9: Evangelicalism and Racial Politics in Brazil
