NWFL exhibit showcases student art

At a recent reception held at the New Woodstock Free Library, Cazenovia High School students received certificates for participation in the CNY Scholastic Art show. Many students won awards and honors in that show for their entries.

The library has provided a venue for Cazenovia High School art for more than 15 years, according to Library Director Norm Parry. "We are delighted to continue this tradition, which showcases the talents of young artists and the quality of fine arts education in the Cazenovia School District," he said.

The exhibit will be featured at the New Woodstock Free Library until April 25. The library is located at 2106 Main St. in the hamlet of New Woodstock. Hours of operation are 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, or whenever the library flag is flying.
