Spring Break at the Liverpool Public Library

If you're staying in town during the Spring Break, the Liverpool Public Library, 310 Tulip St., has events to keep you children entertained:

Sunday April 17

Irish Channel Jazz Band

Join us for the last of the Folk Music Series at 2 p.m. in the Carman Community Room as the The Irish Channel Jazz Band plays Traditional New Orleans jazz.

Monday April 18

Family Games Galore

Spend quality family time gaming in the library at Family Games Galore from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Carman Community Room.

Tuesday April 19

LEGO(r) Builders Club

Build an afternoon of fun at the LEGO(r) Builders Club from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Carman Community Room. For children ages 6 and up, and their parents or caregivers. Registration required.

Teen Tuesday Flix

Catch the movie Last Song (Rated PG) during Teen Tuesday Flix from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Teen Room. Grades 7-12.

Wednesday April 20

Children's crafts

Drop in for crafts from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Children's Room. Enjoy the season by making a paper tube kangaroo, a springtime bunny basket, a seasonal door decoration and a color a holiday picture. For PreK through grade 6.

Thursday April 21

Blarney Killarney's 132th Birthday Bash

Celebrate Blarney Killarney's birthday and anniversary from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Carman Community Room. Blarney arrived at the Liverpool Public Library on his birthday one year ago. Drop in for a celebration with things to make, special treats and a Happy 132nd birthday party. Cake and ice cream will be served.

Friday April 22

Preschool Movies

Preschool Movies features "Knuffle Bunny...and more great childhood adventure stories" at 10 a.m. in the Carman Community Room. Ages 3- to 5-years-old with an adult.
