Doug Finch, father of Olympic gold metal softball pitcher Jennie Finch, will lead a softball clinic from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday April 8. at the Cicero-North Syracuse High. This session is open to individuals, teams and entire youth softball organizations. Registration is $75 for individuals, $150 per team or $300 for an entire youth softball organization to attend. Individuals that register prior to April 8 pay only $50.
Finch, who has been instructing softball players for more than 15 years, is responsible for the invention of the Finch Windmill-pitching, throwing and shoulder exercise machine-in the late 1980s.
