Sheriff's deputies seek public's help locating town of Onondaga man

Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin E. Walsh reports that detectives continue their efforts to locate a missing town of Onondaga man.

On April 2, 1999, Guy M. Pyke, of 4965 Aitcheson Road, left his residence in his 1989 Chevrolet Blazer to visit relatives in the Watertown area and never returned home. Pyke, who would now be 82 years old, at the time of his disappearance was said to have been suffering from Alzheimer's/Dementia. He was last seen on April 2, 1999, in the Evans Mill area.

There have been no sightings of either Pyke or his Chevrolet Blazer since his disappearance, however detectives continue their efforts.

Guy Pyke is said to be 6' tall and approximately 168 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes and wears glasses.

Detectives ask anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Abused Persons Unit by calling 435-3092.
