If you’ve been interested in trying yoga but not sure where to start, head to Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center Saturday for Central New York’s third annual Yoga Awareness Day, hosted by Loretto and Infinite Yoga. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center, 700 E. Brighton Ave., all ages and experience levels can find a yoga class suited to their skill levels. Instructors from Infinite Light Yoga will hold free interactive classes for all levels of experience in breathing, posture, meditation and relaxation techniques in Loretto’s Cunningham Auditorium and Rhea Eckel Chapel. New this year, try Gentle Yoga from 10 to noon or Yoga for Children, geared toward 4- to 8-year-olds, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the chapel. Not sure what your body can handle? Chairs will be available for those unable or reluctant to get down on the floor, and wheelchairs are welcome. Ask local instructors those yoga-related questions you’ve been wondering: how much do classes cost, what are the different styles, and what’s the best fit for your needs?
