Pumpkins at farmers market to benefit local preschool

Supporting Cazenovia's local preschool is as easy as purchasing a pumpkin at the farmers market. The Cazenovia Community Preschool will be selling pumpkins from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Sept. 25 at the Cazenovia Farmers Market at Memorial Park. All pumpkins are locally grown by farmer Joe Dodd, who will generously donate all proceeds to CCP.

"When I was approached by Mr. Dodd about selling these perfect pumpkins, I thought this would be a great way to help the preschool as well as tie into the farm fest theme," said Susan LaGorga. The cost for the pumpkins is $5 for any size and the proceeds will help The Cazenovia Community Preschool.
