Knitting Made Easy

10 a.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 3, 10, 17 and 24

Continuation of our adult learn-to-knit class, participants will help each other learn knitting tips and enjoy the camaraderie. Open to all interested regardless of skill. Registration required.

Aviation Mysteries: Glenn Miller

7 p.m. Thursday Dec. 2

Join historian and librarian, Cheryl Pula, for a discussion of the mysterious disappearance of musician Glenn Miller. Famous Big Band leader Glenn Miller was scheduled to fly from England to France in December 1944, when he disappeared. No trace of him or his fellow travelers has ever been found. Registration encouraged.

Teen Book Discussion

7 p.m. Monday Nov. 22

Teens entering sixth grade and up, are invited to join the DCL's Teen Book Discussion Club. Register for this program and share great stories with your peers. Registration required.

Teen Gaming and Karaoke Night

6:30 p.m. Friday Nov. 19

For ages 9 to 16 years old. Get your game on at the DCL as you play video games against your friends. Then, show off your singing skills and hang with your friends. Registration required.

DCL Movie Mornings

10:30 a.m. Tuesdays Nov. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30

Enjoy a free G or PG rated movie in our DCL Friends Room. No registration required.

Family Movie Matinee

2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 6

Bring the whole family and join us for a free movie and popcorn! We'll be showing Disney Pixar's "Toy Story 3." Rated G. No registration required.

Children's programs

Chapter Book Bingo

2 p.m. Thursday Nov. 11

For ages 8 to 12 years old. Can you find your favorite chapter book characters, like Percy Jackson or the Wimpy Kid? B-I-N-G-O! Come in and play this fun game with Miss Jenny. Prizes will be awarded. Registration required.
