Learn to improve your negotiation skills. Steven Wechsler, professor of law at Syracuse University, offers practical strategies to help you negotiate anything more successfully. Registration encouraged.

Career Connections: One-on-One Resume Review

1 p.m. Tuesdays or 6 p.m. Thursdays

Sign up at the library or on the library's website (dewlib.org) to meet with a member of the Library staff for individualized help with writing a successful resume and cover letter. Each hour-long tutorial will be held in the library. Please bring a sample of the resume or cover letter that you've started. Registration required.

Introduction to Meditation

Stress release is a compelling reason for the average person to want to learn some easy meditation techniques. Cindy Griffith-Bennett (psychicsupport.com) will offer some simple meditations that you can start doing and benefiting from right away. Registration required.

Music Software Computer Class

10:30 am. Thursday Nov. 4

Students will get a basic overview of popular music software, including iTunes, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, and RealPlayer. They will learn how to make playlists, import and save music. Registration required.

Mystery Book Club

7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 11

Share a love of mysteries as we discuss new authors and old favorites. Each month focuses on a different book, which is available through the library system. This month's selection is: Deborah Blum's "The Poisoner's Handbook." Registration encouraged.

Photo Software Computer Class

10:30 a.m. Thursday Nov. 18

Students will learn how to use Photoshop and where to find free alternatives to this software. Learn how to open and edit photos, how to clean up old photos, and how to save them. Registration required.

DCL Music Series

2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 21

Handbell Concert: A trio of performers will delight with the toll of bells. This unique English Handbell Ensemble will ring in the holiday season with a variety of tunes. Registration encouraged.
