Serafin violates village law again

Manlius Mayor Mark-Paul Serafin was charged again Oct. 25 for violating a village recycling law.

The Manlius Police Department issued the first ticket, same charge, just over a month ago on Sept. 25, after a formal complaint was made Aug. 24 by a village resident, whose name has not been disclosed. Serafin was allegedly removing returnables from blue bins outside residents' homes for trash pickup.

Serafin has retained a lawyer, Attorney Tom Cerio of Cerio Law Firm, in Syracuse, and has been advised to send all inquiries to him. The Eagle Bulletin contacted Cerio but he could not be reached for comment at this time.

The Eagle Bulletin will continue to post updates.
