Pancakes for Paige's Butterfly Run

The French Club of Baker High School will host an Applebee's pancake breakfast for Paige's Butterfly Run from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday Nov. 7.

In addition to offering a delicious breakfast for just $5, Paige's Butterfly Run Board members will run raffles for 15 beautiful gift baskets with merchandise generously donated by local merchants including Nami's, Panera's, Dough Boy's Gourmet Pizzaria, Kirby's Steak House, Dick's Sporting Goods, Starbucks Coffee company, and many others.

The grand prize raffle will be the famous "Last Day" jersey, worn by Lance Armstrong and Team RadioShack on the final day of the 2010 Tour de France in Paris when they accepted the fastest team prize. This jersey was released in very limited quantity and cost more than $100. The white "28" on the back of this black LiveStrong jersey stands for the 28 million worldwide cancer patients.

Breakfast tickets can be purchased from the French Club at Baker High School and at Applebee's on Route 31 in Clay Nov. 7.

Abbe Guillet is the French teacher at Baker High School.
